Ferris Wheel Sunset

Sunset at the carnival is a fun time. There is a transition that takes place between the colors and sites of the day to the neon and mystique of the night.  A ride that looked just “okay” in daylight now becomes exciting with its bright lights and blinking bulbs. The colors are brighter and the shadows are darker and nighttime takes over. As the air cools, the smells of the funnel cakes linger longer and everyone gets hungry all over again.

In case you missed them, here are a few other shots from local carnival rides.
